Classic Hymer 544 Campervan from 1988. Left hand drive. Peugeot/Fiat engine. Said to be bullet proof but not ULEZ proof! She starts straight away and runs and drives well. We bought her (via a dealer) from the original owner who bought her from new. We bought her for festivals and occasional weekends away in 2017 and renovated the interior. She has a new memory foam double mattress, new cushion covers, repainted interior, new wood kitchen surfaces. She has new kitchen and bathroom skylights. We redid some of the internal electrics, including new lighting (including floor level lights). She has a new starter motor and rear springs. We didn't use her as much as we planned because of Covid-19 lockdown and because we could could not keep her at our home in London because she is not ULEZ compliant. She has sat in the grounds of our friends house in Cobham, Surrey, for the past 6 years and only moved 2 miles down the road once each year (to a nearby festival! ). Overall she is solid with no underbody rust. There has been some water leakage from the central skylight which needs to be repaired or replaced, but no serious damage. All of the appliances are original and they all worked the last time we used her. She does not have an MOT. She will need a new right headlight (easily obtained). The left CV boot was an advisory on the last MOT, she has only been driven about 20 miles since then. We are selling her as a project, (spares or repair) with no guarantees that anything works, although she probably only needs a little care and attention to be back up and running.
