In 1988 a 36ft Country Coach was a top of the line motorhome. It sold new for $129,000. Of course the years have passed but it is still a well-built very nice motorhome needing some repair and TLC.
It has tile floor in the bathroom, parquet in the kitchen. A Corian counter plus plus icemaker. It has a built-in stereo system (needs updating), convection oven and more. It has a rooftop satellite dish. All the cabinets are solid oak. $1,600 worth of tires have lots of rubber left.
Repairs: It needs a new refrigerator and new main awning arms. (It was vandalized while in storage for the copper and aluminum.) The exterior needs a full detailing. The interior was recently well cleaned. It could use a complete tuneup.
The coach has only 58,000 miles. I was going to live it. It's very comfortable. In Arizona that's very cheap. In Orange County, California the opposite is true. So it's not been used for about 18 mo's after I used it for a year or so on a California ranch.
It's perfect to be set up as a vacation home or used as a second home on a lot. IMHO,it needs to be registered in AZ. It's 10x cheaper than CA or other states. Also there's no smog requirements.
Ok. That's full disclosure. Medical circumstances have kept me in OC or I'd have relocated to AZ with the motorhome as my home. I don't like selling it but it's necessary. Photo doesn't really do it justice but you can see the size.
