1962 GM CoachModel PD-4106 #736We are selling ourbus as a shell for a future owner to finish to their liking. We gutted the 1970’s RV interior a couple ofyears ago and installed some basic features just to allow us to camp for onemore year. The furnishings in the bus (asseen in the photos) can be removed prior to sale. I can provide other pictures taken before wegutted it. The bus is 35 feet long, 8feet wide, and 10 feet 6 inches tall.We’re asking $8000for the bus.If you are in themarket for a good running classic bus, our bus may be just the ticket. We’ve owned it for 4 years and have enjoyedcamping in it all over Wisconsin and parts of Michigan and Illinois. The bus always garnered a lot of attention fromother people wherever we’d camp. The bus has an8V71 Detroit Diesel engine with 4 speed Spicer transmission. The engine has no noticeable blowby, and oilleakage and consumption are minimal compared to other Detroit engines in trucksand buses that I’ve driven. The radialtires on the bus are approximately 15 years old but have good tread and minimalweather checking. The bus easily cruises at highway speeds, and fuelconsumption is approximately 7 to 10 mpg depending on how hard you driveit. The bus has no odometer, so I haveno way of knowing how many miles are on it. It’s safe to say over a million miles considering this was a Greyhoundbus originally. For RV systems, ithas two Onan generators with low hours (less than 300 each). They are older units and we’ve never tried tostart them. Shore power consists of two 30-amp cords/circuits and there are functional110-volt outlets inside the bus for the refrigerator, lamps, etc. The bus hadbasement A/C units, but they are non-functional. The 10-gallon electric water heater works andthere are two large holding tanks. One for fresh water and the other forblack/grey water.
