For sale is a Vintage 1966 Airstream 17 foot Caravel Travel Trailer Camper. All original layout and appliances - we appreciated the history (was told that not all from this period have back up lights and if they did it could have been used for Wally's international travel caravan trips) so thus we have keep this original except for cosmetic interior updates but still following the style of the period - new vinyl fabric, window coverings, laminate countertops and Armstrong flooring. The plastic exhaust vent for the refrigerator has been replace with a galvanized metal one same shape/size as original. This model has a bunk bed that hangs from the ceiling and attaches to brackets on the wall - the metal rods used to hang the bed are not original. So room for two adults and at least three kids. Body has no dents. It has two new Goodyear tires for its road trip to its next destination. We used it just as a extra bedroom in the backyard and man cave for parties. Being sold as is so ask any questions, check out the photos and ask for specific photos if needed - unit is a classic fifty seven years old so will need some work, we have not checked out the plumbing or propane. Comes with a vintage owner's manual plus a reprint of a more complete one. Also comes with a front window rock guard and a wall mounted magazine rack from the period. Located in Tucson Arizona with a clear title in hand. $1,000 deposit within 72 hours of purchase and full payment of the balance via Money Order with in 14 days of purchase. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements and cost from Tucson Arizona 85715 - must be picked up within 30 days from purchase. Getting harder to find these pieces of "art" in original condition.
