1981 International S1800 Off-Road 4x4 Fully customized, off road off grid RV or full time overlanding rig w only 24,000 miles on it. Was originally used by Butte County Fire department to move fire fighters up the mountain to fight blazes. California vehicle so NO RUST. The Sherrifs department of Butte county took it over and converted it to a situation/communications vehicle. Was lovingly maintained w no expense spared by Butte county until 2021 the stub axle on the front end was broken and it was removed from service and immediately sold to us. We are not professional converters but this out 3rd and we are working on our 4th. After first fixing the 4x4 we loving built this one to keep as our own however plans change. Have taken this on many fun adventures from the snow to the desert and she is a BEAST. Not much this thing can’t do. 50mph max speed so make sure you’ve got the time to enjoy the slow lane :) max standing height in the box is roughly 6ft. This vehicle is very much a work in progress and some photos reflect that. Some things have been upgraded and replaced as well: propane protection, grey water protection etc. vehicle will be ready in late May/early June. And can be delivered anywhere for a reasonable fee.
