It was made in just one year, and the companyproduced only 15 of them. This was a very limited edition. This Airstream wasbuilt on a Gillig bus chassis with air suspension. It features a GM driveline,including a C6 three-speed transmission, but it has a Ford 460 engine. The Airstream name is one of the first brands that comes to mindwhen thinking about collectible motorhomes and RVs. Although that’s mostly regarding tow-behindtrailers, there are plenty of self-propelled models that are sought after aswell. This motorhome is massive, which allows for more sleeping and storagecompartments inside, and certainly a very real feeling of having a home onwheels. $30,000 has been invested in this Airstream, the money spent sofar on the project has been focused on a full engine service, brakes,transmission service, new tires, and more. After the mechanical work wascompleted, the interior was stripped. The proportions of the Airstream are such that you can seeendless potential for an absolutely wild interior build.
