It's the perfect place to spend time together without spending a fortune. The Jay Series 1006 has useful floorplan with both a dinette and a sofa. Each can be used for seating during the day and can be converted to additional sleeping spaces at night. The front kitchen has a 3-way refrigerator, furnace, gas cooktop and sink. There is also a front storage compartment for carrying additional items on your journey. With the front king bed and the rear double bed, this trailer has sleeping room for 8. Jay Series campers are constructed with superior materials and craftsmanship. THE FLOOR is made of an undercoated, seamless 5/8" Structurewood floorboard and is double bonded to the aluminum frame, creating of the strongest foundations in the industry. On the insde, is an easy care vinyl floor covering to help keep the outdoors where it belongs: outside. THE WALLS are 1 1/2" think laminated with wooden frames and backers for a durable structure designed to withstand use and travel. THE END BUNKS are undercoated 5/8" Structurewood, a two-piece extruded aluminum bed frame and heavy-duty tent supports that can hold over 1,000 pounds. THE TENT is made of water-repellant DuraTek material with a Velcro attachment system, double stitching and sturdy vinyl construction that combine for durability and long-lasting value that is easy to set up. And if you ever have a problem, the tenting is sectionalized for easy removal and repair or replacement. THE LIFTER SYSTEM is fully enclosed to protect against rust and uses strong and flexible push-rods to guide the roof up as you crank. The tubular lift posts have no edges to chafe or soil the tent and nylon bushings in the lifter posts reduce friction and extend the life of the lifter system. Factory options included on this camper are Jayco's Customer Value Pacakge which includes an awning, refrigerator, water purifier and 2 bunk fan/lights. We have also added an outside stereo with speakers for entertainment at the campsite, 16,000 BTU furnace for chilly nights and electric brakes for safety.
