He wanted a Pop Up for his summer activities and I wanted a Hard side for the cold weather. I won! This 2013 Northstar Laredo fit the bill perfectly, not too big, but loaded with features we felt we wanted and needed. What really sold us on this camper was the size; easy to load, easy to maneuver on the road, no overhang on the sides. Stopping for lunch at the views of our choice and enjoying our home cooked meals seemed such a luxury. We pinched ourselves, reveling in having all the creature comforts in the back of our truck! With AC for those hot humid days, a side awning to keep you shaded, and a covered fantastic fan you are sure to be cool. There is also a new TV and DVD(with Bluetooth) player for those rainy days. This 3 plus season camper was home at glider races, a respite off of the Appalachian trail, ski resorts, and a comfortable stay to have on all of our travels along the east coast, Midwest and our move out West. With shore power, or off the grid boon docking, this camper performed wonderfully. A single solar panel, propane tank and battery were all that was needed when boon docking with afternoon espressos provided by generator power. On shore power we remained toasty warm through winter activities. Now out West, we have progressed to a 4 season camper and are ready to allow others to enjoy our first truck camper. With all systems a go, this 2013 Northstar Laredo is ready for your next adventure. Just load it up with food, forks, and your adventure gear and you are on your way. We suggest torklift tie down mounts and fast gun turnbuckles. Over the years the camper sustained some damage: broken leg (happy jack), roof antenna knocked off(by Ford Dealer), nose patch. All of these repairs were performed by RV shops. A slow leak secondary to the antenna repair, caused roof damage that was corrected this year. Need more info?
