This motorhome has been placed with us for sale due to the end of use for the present owner, who as you can tell by the information listed below has been a great owner and caretaker of this unit. Now is his time to move on to the next phase of retirement but this could be the beginning of yours!!! The following is my description of our motorhome. We purchased the Ventana in December 2019 from LazyDays in Tampa Florida. We are the second owners. I was told that the first owner used the motorhome for Daytona racing events: Freightliner chassis, 400HP Cummins diesel, 8 KW Cummins generator. Mileage, when we purchased, was 15,000 miles? Lazydays installed new Michelin tires. Presently, the mileage is 44,800 miles or approximately 30,000 miles on present tires.. We have spent the last 4 winters parked in Emerald Pointe in Zephyrhills. The longest trip in the motorhome was in 2021 to the West Coast, about 7,500 miles. To my knowledge, the Ventana is in excellent condition. Only my wife and a small dog have occupied the motorhome. No children ever inside. No smoking. No repairs to date other than normal maintenance. Presently, there is a small leak at the front corner of the front passenger side. The leak happens only when the slide is out and the awning is rolled up. I have attempted to caulk. Only happens when the awning is not out due to mechanism. The unit has not been abused in any manner. I am the only person that has driven the home. My interstate highway speed is normally 62-64 mph. It has been on pavement or concrete almost all the time with the exception of a few overnight stays on our 2021 western trip. Other than the summer of 2019, it has remained outside. Improvements or modifications during our ownership. Returned to Newmar in Nappanee Indiana in 2020. Eating booth was removed and new credenza and slide-out eating unit installed. While at Newmar, they replaced the motor on the front driver slideout and replaced the engine batteries. The factory installed couch/sleeper was replaced by a reclining matching leather love seat in 2020. The motor operated roof mounted satellite dish satellite was replaced with new Winegard unit (Dish TV), winter 2023. I removed the propane kitchen cooktop and replaced with a True induction cooktop in 2023. As the wife does not cook, it has probably less than 1-hour of usage. Replaced carpet on front driver slide with laminate wood. The only tv ever used is the main living area tv. Have annually washed/ceramic waxed exterior body. Small exterior scratches have been repaired this spring nothing major. I installed the TST tire monitoring system in 2020. At the purchase from Newmar, we purchased the anti-blow-out devises for all wheels. Replaced dash blower motor on AC/Heater. Replaced original bath commode with Domectic comfort level/elongated with spray commode. The reason for selling this excellent, comfortable motorhome is because we are purchasing a condo in St. Petersburg, and due to my age, 78. We will be returning to Knoxville TN 3/5/24 with motorhome remaining in Emerald Pointe. I will be returning to the Zephyrhills area mid-May for business, remaining for 3 weeks before returning to Tennessee. *****Miscellaneous items that go with motorhome Magne Shade Custom Windshield Cover (Smoky Mountain view), Custom Tire covers, Ready Brute Towing hitch, Southwire Electric Surge Protector, and other small necessary items.
