I purchased this overly pampered, stunning, top of the line Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite fifth wheel, after searching country wide for almost two years. The original owner (seller) had it for less than a year when his wife passed. Torn by his loss, and having the financial ability to do so, he stored the unit, which they had only used 4 times, in a temp controlled environment on his horse ranch in ST. Cloud. During the time it was stored, he kept it serviced and cleaned even though it was not being used. The new 10 ply tires were purchased purely because the original tires were out of date. I saw the original tires. The instructions for cleaning the shower were still stuck on the shower pan; they never used it. They never used the range, or the outside grill (they ate at nearby restaurants). I peeled the protective vinyl and stickers off the microwave, and fireplace. They were never used. I cant begin to express how fresh smelling and clean it is other than to use the clich; you could eat off the floors. It was obvious he had the funds to buy, use, and care for the unit. We also have all the original papers (everything) to prove him being the original owner. After bringing it home, I hired a highly recommended service tech to check it out. When finished he commented that he felt bad because he still had to charge me for the service call, eventhough he found absolutly nothing wrong or that had to be cleaned or adjusted. And so it has been ever since. Washed 2xs a month, and waxed every three months with Marine Wax. Unfortunately, after using it just twice, sudden health issues took its toll. So. After several grueling months of thinking things would get better, the decision was made to let it go. And believe me, it's ripping my heart out. This warm and inviting beauty is, for all intent, almost brand new. I have all the original papers and it comes with all the extras I purchased, including a never used 12x12 Nautica screened enclosure and chairs. If something on the partial itemized list reads, NEW, its only because Im that anal. If you are truly in the market for an exceptional used fifth wheel, dont pass this over without further investigation. The proof is in seeing it. Again, I prefer to sell the truck (still under warranty) and the unit together for 71,000.00. Otherwise separately for $31,500 for the unit, and 39,900.00 for the truck. Yes.
