2019 Heartland Cyclone 4270 (Toy Hauler) FULL TIMERS SPECIAL!!! Well cared for toy hauler configured and customized for full time living or cheap solar living with full AC. How is this possible? Professionally installed aftermarket Minisplit heat pumps were added in 2023 which provide heat/AC for the primary living area (and bedroom too!) as well as separate unit in the garage/office. Units are properly wired per residential wiring and AC codes and include a separate master subpanel. A complete energy monitoring system has been installed with Smartphone App that you can monitor how much energy each major piece of equipment or appliance is using as well as your major plug loads. This allows you to optimize your electrical use. We live in the trailer full-time in Texas and use both the heating and cooling functions as well as the dehumidification feature of the heat pumps. We rarely eclipse 3,500-5,000 watts of consistent power usage. The Onboard Onan 5000 can run both heat pumps and one of the rooftop units. We had intended to add a solar array to the top for full grid capability but then our plans changed. Most of the work is done for you! Even if you dont install solar you will save hundreds of dollars per month on electrical costs in an RV park running the heat pumps versus the OEM Rooftop AC Units which use 4X the electricity. The onboard energy monitoring system shows this to you. Mind-blowing how efficient and cost effective the heat pumps keep the trailer at the perfect temperature year-round. Also added are aftermarket electric resistance heated floors. One zone covers the bedroom and one zone covers the bathroom. Warm floors no matter what the weather outside. Using the mentioned heat pumps you will see only about 25% of the electrical capacity required to do the same heating and cooling as the factory rooftop ac units. And the biggest thing is they are SILENT. Inside and out you will not hear any fan noise. This was essential for us as we both work from home.The garage is currently configured as a primary office complete with printer table, dual (adjustable height) desks and built-in storage bins for tools and supplies. We also have the seats which fold down into additional sleeping space (in storage) if the next owner requires them. We intend to leave the garage setup as a mobile office. If you are working from home, this is a great office because the desks ride on the OEM couch/bunk bed motorized system so you can have a stand/sit desk with push button control. And its that way on both sides. Awesome!The trailer has been lightly used by a 50+ couple who work from home.
