Up for sale is our 2021 Keystone Montana Legacy 3931FB. If you don’t know about the Legacy model, I recommend you visit Keystone’s site which describes the upgrades it provides as Montana’s top-tier/luxury 5th wheel model. In addition to the Legacy features, this RV is optioned with full body paint ($10,000+ option). All the specs can be found here (https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2021-keystone-montana-fifth-wheel-floorplan-3931fb-tr48082)The Good: We have been lucky enough to own this rig since October 2021 (original owners) and have yet to have any issues, warranty or otherwise, creep up. If you’ve heard the horror stories of other RV owners getting a lemon, it can absolutely ruin your RV adventure. This rig has been the opposite of a lemon for us. Here are some of the upgrades we’ve had done:- Installed 2 new Dometic porcelain toilets in main bathroom and ½ bath (one is soft close and one is elongated)- Installed quartz countertop with washbowl basins and high-end waterfall faucets in the main bathroom.- Had RV Solar Solutions install 1400w of solar panels up top, 600ah Life Blue heated solar batteries (Bluetooth) in the front basement, a 3000w Pure Sine Magna inverter/charger and Victron solar controller with inside monitor. It was a professional installation, so all the cabling and sub-panels are hidden and done correctly. Our cost a year ago was north of $16,000 (receipts available). With this set-up we have been able to boondock indefinitely – or at least until we needed to dump tanks. - New Moen sink fixtures in kitchenThe Neutral (a plus for us but we recognize other may prefer the original furniture): We took the Thomas Payne theater seat and jackknife sofa out because we found them uncomfortable and we replaced them with modern, genuine leather sofas. We also removed the dinette and replaced it with a custom-made live edge cherry wood desk/table so that we could remote work when away on adventures. If any potential buyers prefer the original sofas and dinette we will remove and keep our sofas and desk and deduct $4000 from the selling price – this is well over the cost to have everything replaced by a dealer from the Thomas Payne collection (including install fee).The Bad: As I stated earlier, this RV has been rock solid. The only thing I can come up with is that early on in our adventures I opened the living room slide and two screws had become loose/exposed on the underside of the slide. The screws caused two narrow slices in the vinyl flooring. The cuts (not folds) were treated with a color-matched vinyl sealant to prevent the cuts from getting larger. It’s not overly noticeable unless one was looking for the cuts. We have always used an area rug in the living room for comfort/hominess and our carpet (8x8 I think) covers the cuts as well. Just a reminder that the RV is used so there are signs it has been camped in both inside and out. We welcome an inspection prior to any sale.We are selling this amazing RV to downsize to something in the under 30’ range so we can park it behind our new house.
