This is a project I started and I don't have the funds, nor the space to continue and I'd like to see it go to a good home. I put into it 3k, including paying all of the DMV back fees, which were 700 alone for that aspect, last year. It's going to need gas and a battery and temp plates to drive this off of the property, or just have it towed if you don't want to hassle with it. DMV gave me all of the paperwork for my $700, so it's going to be given to you, which means it's not some abandoned vehicle you gotta wrestle with to get a new title and registration. It has 22k miles on it, was sitting a while before I got into it., I've overhauled the interior, taking it down past the insulation, the tough part has been completed. I have the inserts, water heater, and sinks. Shower stall is installed, bathroom section is scaled back to make more room for the rest of the interior. I've installed a layer of 1/2" osb over the floor, after stripping it down, and then installed vinyl plank flooring. The interior paneling is minwaxed Luan ply, the walls in the bathroom need to still be clear coated and trim added, or you can elect to take it down to expand it, or eliminate it. I've built a custom panel next to the shower that's removable so that you are able to utilize the space for storage. The roof leaks, as do most this age, so either tarp it or put on a rubber roof. I've paneled it and beefed it up if you opt to mount a layer of ply on top and coat it make it water proof on the cheap. The exterior is not the prettiest, but could be made to look nice with a paint job. I've taken every single thing out of this along the living quarter area, to include all cabinets, tables, chairs, bunk beds, equipment, etc. in order to open up every single usable space, this also has lightened it up dramatically so it feels like you are just driving a pick up, not some behemoth. I've stripped away the interior of the cab over bed area to make room for a normal queen size mattress, which is included. The length is 23 feet, engine is big block 350, auto transmission, I've installed a new ignition switch, needs to be remounted, , you can tell by the lack of wear on the driver and passenger seats, the 22k odometer is valid, I installed a new thermostat last year as well and I left the stock air conditioning unit roof mounted in place, have never tested that part though.. I have been living in it a year and am in the process of cleaning it up for the next owner, so please give me a day or two to schedule an appointment to see it. I'd like it to be gone by the 14th, which is the only reason I'm listing it so inexpensively, I'd also like it to go to a good home, as in someone that needs a cheap place to live to help get them off of the street, which was my original intention for doing something like this. I have converted newer units into coffee/food service mobile units, this is the first one I've done for residential and the first one I've done in an older model, the amount of labor I put into this was extensive but necessary since I would not be at all happy living in some filthy, particle board wonder with who knows what has imbedded itself into the inner walls, cabinetry and equipment... My current awesome landlords have allowed me to stay here for a year, I can point you to a close RV park that will take it that's just up the street from me, if you are needing assistance in this area, you can also petition your local church or friends or relatives for some kind soul to let you park it at their place as well and I'll help in what ever capacity for that aspect as also. This could also be a nice extra room for guests, or used for storage or a work shop or just some outside space that could be converted to your mancave if you are garage deficient guys. The bottom line, it's something rough around the edges, but someone put in alot of tlc into it and it has a lot of potential.
