Custom Built Overland Adventure Trailer. Yes there are cheaper trailers; but they’re not built like this one. If you’re looking for a nice looking, quality built lightweight trailer that tracks well this is it. Built as a project, never use.Powder-coated and Diamond plate finish on a very rigid custom built steel frame. Built with a lot of thought to design and function. Max width is 67" with a 60" track, slightly less than almost all tow vehicles so it follows well, not cutting corners. Only weighs a little over 1600 pounds with refrigerator, water heater, full propane and 19 gallons of water. The tent platform is built on a 5th wheel jack so the height is adjustable; low CG while traveling or stand-under awning while camped. Tuff-Stuff Ranger tent (56” x 96” opened) with attached rainfly & shoe-bag, plus an Annex room with a floor if desired (can zip the floor in or leave it out) - (approximately 7.5' x 7.5' - plenty of room for 2 sleeping bags or cots). ARB Lockable slide mounted Dometic CFX3-35 Refrigerator with Bluetooth, low battery protection and switched DC power or AC.120W Solar panel in its own padded storage compartment and a controller. 2 solar panel inputs.Skid plate protected 19 gallon under-floor water tank & pump (low CG), plus two 2 Gallon Rotopax water tanks & one 3 gallon Rotopax gas tank mounted on the tailgate. 23 Gallon water capacity counting the 2 Rotopax.Max-coupler hitch allowing 3 axis movement and 7 pin light / brake connector.ARB Awning can be carried in its normal position on the side or moved to a center “protected” position if traveling on narrow trails with trees or bushes (see Pics).Portable propane water heater including shower and hoses. Trailer has a secure water heater hanging mount.5 pound propane tank with 12’ hose and regulator.Detachable diamond plate fender table (works on either side).Battery compartment is low (partially below floor - low CG) and can accommodate 2 group 29 batteries (1 is in it now).In addition to the carpeted “main-compartment” storage area with 6 tie-downs there is a forward lockable storage box & 2 fender storage compartments.Master power switch and shore-power receptacle. 6 way fused power distribution box.Switched 12VDC outlet and 2 USB outlets plus an extra switch for whatever.Need to get this out of my shop.
