The coolest thing I ever built. ROUGH RIDER TILTING UTILITY TRAILER ALUMINUM 5X10 FT. 3000 LB GVW, Flatbed with CUSTOM MADE TOP (removable).. I bought this trailer in 1997 to haul my garbage to the town dump. I was only able to use it about 5 or six times, then the town dump mysteriously closed and now everyone in town has to pay a small fortune to some large corporation to haul their trash away. This trailer has never been through salt. It has been sitting in my yard since 1997. I designed and built the upper half, all of which is removable, This was designed to last, and it has done just that. The upright sides have angle aluminum protecting the edges of the wood. The three plywood roof pieces have their edges sandwiched withe aluminum strips bolted in place, this protects the edges of the plywood, and also prevents the plywood from from warping, which it has succeeded in doing for 26 years in the weather. It can be used as a flatbed, or with the sides, or with the sides and the roof pieces. It also has independent blinkers. The paint of the roof pieces was chipping off so I grabbed some old paint and gave them all two coats. I think the paint being old made it not cover perfectly. I recommend repainting the roof pieces again with some brand new paint. As this is virtually unused, the original tires had all the tread in the world, but the tires were dry rotted from decades in the weather, so I bought some new tires for it.. The tires are brand spanking new. Feel free to ask any questions. There is no title, however this I have the original purchase receipt, and the original MANUFACTURER'S CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN, which is all you need to get a state title (see photos). It has 13 in. tires and torsion bar suspension.
